Gina Marie’z Academy of Performing Arts, LLC Dance Company, better known as the GMZ Company, is a group of dedicated dancers who have a passion for performance! Gina Marie’z wants to create a high standard of dance for your children and give them the best opportunities possible.

Teaching self-discipline, self-respect, kindness, compassion and respect for others are key components within the GMZ Company as well. Our purpose is to further a dancers training beyond just a class level, and allow them to study dance in a pre-professional atmosphere. GMZ Company members may attend 3-5 dance competitions, conventions, in-house dance workshops to further their dance education with master teachers & professional dancers, and local performances in the Hudson Valley!

All interested dancers must audition to be considered for a company. By allowing the students to get used to auditioning in a controlled environment, they gain the skill to audition/interview for any job, scholarship, internship, etc. later in life.

Auditioning also creates a standard and a sense of accomplishment for the students. By having them audition the students are setting a goal for themselves and continuing to work toward that goal. It is not about having the best dancers who will win awards, it is about finding dancers who are willing to work hard and that have the ambition to learn and grow as dancers.

Company placement is by audition only. Company auditions are complete for the 2024-2025 Season. Auditions will be announced by May 1, 2025 for our 16th Season. Our Company structure is changing. Information is listed below. Company members are expected to attend ALL scheduled rehearsals (including choreography month) which begins in August. Accepting a place on our Company is a big commitment and we are excited to watch our dancers thrive.
